A rebuttal of Obong Akan Udofia Campaign Council's mention of Engr. Larry Esin

RE: ANNULMENT OF AKAN UDOFIA'S CANDIDACY: A TRAVESTY OF JUSTICE

A rebuttal of Obong Akan Udofia Campaign Council's mention of Engr. Larry Esin

The attention of Engr. Larry Esin 2023 Campaign Organization has been drawn to a press release by Obong Akan Udofia Campaign Organization which was signed by the Director-General, Chief Don Etim.

In the release, the Council made efforts to give what it believes to be an account of series of political incidents and processes leading to the now annulled Akwa Ibom APC Governorship Primaries Election.

In paragraph 9 of the press release under reference, the Campaign Organization erroneously mentioned the name of our Principal and leading 2023 APC Governorship Aspirant for Akwa Ibom; Engr. Larry Esin as one of those who _"...were physically present at the venue of the Primaries and participated in the exercise which culminated in the declaration of Obong Akan Udofia as Governorship Candidate_ _of the APC in Akwa Ibom State having scored 1227 votes out of a total ( sic) 1,303 valid votes cast"._

We wish to emphasize that this claim is totally false as our Principal was neither at the venue of the purported APC Governorship Primaries on the stated date nor aware of the conduct of such exercise

We wish to note also that Engr. Larry Esin finds this claims and the mentioning of his name in the said press release very offensive and would expect a retraction be made immediately.

Meanwhile, the teeming supporters of Engr. Larry Esin and the general public are hereby implored to discard the erroneous claims while awaiting a directional statement from the leading APC 2023 Gubernatorial Aspirant as regards the court-ordered APC Governorship rerun Primary election in Akwa Ibom State.

Signed

 Hon (Engr.) Ime Mbom

Chairman, Larry Esin Campaign Organization
