Today, the Court has delivered Judgement in the case I instituted at the Federal High Court Uyo and has nullified and affirmed the position of INEC that "there was no nomination by APC in Akwa Ibom State because INEC did not monitor the primary". and of course we also contended that under the Electoral Act, the first defendant who was wrongly declared a candidate is not a member of the APC and can not contest election. So the Court has upheld our position in Law and has disqualified him (Akanimo Udofia) and has ordered another nomination within 14 (Fourteen) days to be conducted by the Party. I am the Governorship candidate of the APC incoming and I ask God for his absolute grace to go through the challenges ahead.

2023; Court Nullifies A’Ibom APC Gov Primary By Unini Chioma -November 14, 2022 WhatsAppTwitter A Federal High Court sitting in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State has annulled the gubernatorial primary of the All Progressive Congress (APC) held in the State on May 26, 2022. In a suit number FHC/UY/144/2022, a former aide to the President on Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Ita Enang, had gone to court claiming the APC primary was characterised by several illegalities. Enang, in one of his claims, said that Akan Udofia was not a member of the APC in the State. But Udofia argued the APC had given him a waiver that qualified him to contest the primary. In a judgement on Monday, Justice Agatha Okeke cancelled the APC primary and ordered the party to conduct another primary within two weeks. Justice Okeke also dismissed the purported waiver granted Udofia and ordered the party to conduct another primary in a fortnight where authentic governorship flag bearer of APC in the State will emerge.  ‘ Updated October 22, 2022 Former Chief of Army Staff, Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, says Nigeria is being brought to ruin by heavily armed “useless” criminals. The former defence minister, who insisted on self-defence to drive out country’s common “enemy”, said Nigeria will be finished if this is not done. The octogenarian spoke on Saturday when he delivered a goodwill message in Wukari, Taraba State, where Governor Darius Ishaku presented staff of office to His Majesty Manu Ishaku Adda Ali, the 25th Aku Uka. He knocked the military for living in denial over Nigeria’s aggravating security challenges, saying the “evidence” of what he said four years ago is now obvious for all eyes to see. Danjuma had in March 2018 urged Nigerians to defend themselves against their killers but his call for self-defence attracted stark criticisms. Four years later, the former defence chief on Saturday said, “Our country is under siege by armed bandits, all over the country when some few years ago, I warned
